I offer integrative, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy for adults, couples, and families facing anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions—centering clarity, connection, and growth.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with training and experience across the U.S., India and Europe. I come from a place where mental health support wasn’t easily available, and that shaped my early understanding of how quietly people can carry pain. That background led me to this work—and continues to guide the way I show up: with curiosity, care, and a deep respect for each person’s inner world.
My clinical experience spans work with adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of challenges. Along the way, I’ve come to value nuance, cultural context, and the kind of therapeutic relationship that allows people to feel fully seen without needing to explain everything. Therapy is my way of offering what I once needed myself: space, clarity, and the possibility of change.
My approach is integrative and shaped by what each session calls for. I draw from evidence-based modalities like CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic insight, but I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Sometimes we pause to unpack a pattern, sometimes we focus on coping tools, and sometimes we just hold space for what’s showing up.
I work collaboratively—offering reflections, asking questions, and gently challenging where needed. I aim to help clients build self-awareness, shift unhelpful cycles, and feel more grounded in who they are. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and grounded in the belief that healing looks different for everyone. Sessions are paced intentionally, with room for complexity, discomfort, and moments of clarity.
I began my clinical work at the Realization Center ( New York), where I spent a year supporting clients through addiction recovery and co-occurring mental health challenges. I then worked for three years at Community Counseling and Mediation, a Manhattan-based clinic serving a diverse population across the lifespan. For the past three years, I’ve run my own private practice, working with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions.
I hold a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in both New York and Washington.
