Passionate about what I do, I have been working with couples since graduating in psychology. Understanding how a relationship works and helping a couple on their journey is more than just my calling; it gives me purpose.
I have been working with couples and families since 2010, when I was still in psychology school and doing my training as a clinical psychologist. After graduating, I completed a specialization in Couple and Family Psychoanalysis and continued seeing patients in my private practice and at the Couples Therapy Laboratory at the University of São Paulo.
After eight years of in-person clinical practice in São Paulo, I had the opportunity to move to another country, and with that, I transformed the format of my clinic, and today I work exclusively remotely (online). Moving to another country also opened a new horizon for my clinical practice, and I added the element of interculturality to my studies and practice.
In 2025 I completed my training in Intercultural Psychology, and today I see myself as a well-qualified professional to advise couples facing various types of situations: moving to another country; intercultural marriage; intercultural parenting; parenting abroad; marital expectations; divorce proceedings; etc.
Currently, I offer a unique service related to parenthood, which is a 12-session mentorship program entitled "The Arrival of the Baby," in which I prepare the couple, both in joint and individual sessions, for the most intense and complex time they will go through, both in their personal lives and in their marriage. Contact me for more information.
My theoretical framework is based on Psychoanalysis. During my sessions, I hear carefully and contribute for the personal development of my client. I know my purpose in this profession and I am very glad to use my knowledge to help others and provide a better life and mental health for the ones who choose me as a therapist. I believe deeply that my knowledge and background can provide the necessary tools for couples who are facing issues. I speak three languages, what is a plus to work with intercultural couples.
I have a psychoanalysis background: since the University, it was a guide to my therapy. Once the world has changed so much in the last decades, I understood that is important to modify our perspective, to be more aligned with the new demands. People today don't want to talk and have no feedbacks and exchanges. So, in my sessions, I priorize the speech of my pacient, but I also contribute a lot, building together a nice and welcoming place - even online. I am always open to hear about any particularity, without any kind of judgment and prejudice.
