About me

I'm a bilingual therapist fluent in English and German. Having grown up in the US with German parents, and having lived in Brazil and Spain before settling in Germany, I have firsthand experience with the joys and hardships of navigating new cultures and identities. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological hurdles associated with moving to a new country.

My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own struggles—grappling with existential career questions and overcoming smartphone addiction. I realized that these issues were not a result of personal shortcomings but rather a misalignment with my authentic self. Inspired by Albert Einstein's words, "If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid," I dedicated myself to helping others find clarity and purpose beyond their perceived limitations.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you break free from the unconscious, automatic thoughts that contribute to psychological suffering and hold you back from living a fulfilling life. My approach is both compassionate and challenging. I’m here to help you confront the uncomfortable truths you might be avoiding—the ones that often hold the key to your growth and healing.

Through a collaborative process, we'll identify these barriers and transform them into stepping stones, focusing on real-world experiences and actionable strategies that lead to lasting change. My aim is to guide you in developing resilience and clarity, enabling you to navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

What to Expect ->

As your therapist, I’m committed to your growth, even when it means stepping outside of your comfort zone. I'm not here just to offer comfort—sometimes, growth requires facing discomfort head-on. Together, we will explore:

ADHD - What it is, how to manage it, and how to use it as your SUPERPOWER.

Symptoms of Depression and Anxiety: Understand the underlying causes and learn strategies to manage and alleviate these symptoms.

Meaninglessness / Existential Dread: Find purpose and direction in your life, even amidst uncertainty.

Career Coaching: Clarify your professional path and align it with your personal values.

Break-ups / Infidelity: Heal from emotional pain and rebuild a stronger sense of self.

Dating Advice: Navigate the complexities of modern relationships with confidence so you don't need to rely on dating apps.

Smartphone Addiction: Break free from digital dependencies and reconnect with your true self.

Evaluation of Life Direction: Reflect deeply on your life’s trajectory and make empowered decisions for the future.
