About me

Hi, my name is Devna Mehra and I am a Practicing Counseling Psychologist in New Delhi, India. I am currently offering virtual sessions and in person sessions to clients in New Delhi.Having done my dual Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University, New York City, I have over 4 years of work experience in the United States. I see clients globally and I am currently working with clients dealing from stress and anxiety, low self -esteem and confidence issues, relationship and marital issues, family issues, adjusting to change, life transitions, loneliness, and managing conflict. I am a compassionate, warm and culturally sensitive therapist and believe that each one us has as unique role to play and that we all should take things at our own pace. I know it is sometimes difficult to open up to someone about your life, but the first step in this journey is to ask for help. Each one of us has a unique role to play and we should take things at our own pace. Let’s work together through this journey of life.

Having the experience of working with a diverse population, I work from an eclectic approach keeping in mind that each client has their own unique needs and requirements. I work from a person-centered , cognitive behavioral theoretical orientation that best fits the clients needs and concerns. I also incorporate aspects of mindfulness in my work with my clients. I strongly feel that self-care is an important element in managing daily life stressors. My approach to therapy aims to primarily focus on creating a safe, non judgmental space where the client feels heard and undestood. I believe that therapy is collaborative pocess and I guide my client to be the best version of themselves by helping them increase their level of self-awarness, gain new perspctives and increase potential strengths to liv a more meaningful life Through an integrative, holistic approach, my aim is to create a safe space for the client to better version of themselves.
