I work in partnership with my clients to build a safe and reliable space to untangle and reweave your stories, experiences and patterns with compassion and understanding.
I love the moments in my work when my clients are able to relate to themselves and others with increased ease, compassion, and care.
I am a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner with an online and in-person practice. I bring techniques from IFS, Gestalt, and other approaches in my work with couples, families, and individuals who want to work on their relationships, emotional awareness and communication. As a mediator and facilitator I support groups and communities in resolving their own issues.
I am also a writer and activist who is committed to increasing solidarity and understanding between people.
The first step in working with new clients is listening, reflection and building a secure container for the work. I use Internal Family Systems in combination with conflict coaching, Gestalt, harm reduction, trauma-informed counseling, narrative therapy. and participatory facilitation.
I have had a private practice for ten years, combining conflict resolution work with couples counseling and individual coaching. I previously worked in social work with homeless and street-involved youth, and survivors of labor and sex trafficking, where I learned to approach the most complicated human experiences with care and compassion.
