About me

I am a Licensed and Board-Certified Art Therapist from New York City that holds a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts. My clinical experience is within educational, community, and private practice settings and ranges from work with children and families, adolescents, and adults. In 2019, I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct art therapy research in Riga, Latvia, where I currently resides. In New York, I served on the board of the New York Art Therapy Association (NYATA), an affiliate of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), to further my involvement in the art therapy community at-large. I also collaborated on several art therapy exhibitions in New York and participated in the 2017 School of Visual Arts Alumni Art Therapy Artist Residency.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Art therapyRecommended for those who feel more comfortable expressing emotions through creativity and want to explore their feelings through art rather than talking.
I am all about creating a comfortable space for you to express yourself. My favorite part of what I do is helping others connect with their inner self through art. I believe art-making allows us an opportunity to slow down and visualize who we really are and who we want to be. The art acts as a step towards building self-awareness, acceptance, and empathy. Drawing from a humanistic and solution-focused approach, you can expect to explore your challenges, reframe your self-narrative, and step towards inner healing. It is time to let go of what no longer serves you and embrace the creative process of self-discovery.
