I am a clinical psychologist with a specialization on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and was trained on Narrative Exposure Therapy as well. I was also recently trained in EMDR. Through my studies, I lived abroad where I met people from different cutlures and backgrounds. Through different work settings, I have travelled to several countries and work with people from many cultures. Those experiences matured me as a person and as a psychologist, as I believe that getting to know how people behave and react from different cutlures broadens your understanding of humans and increases your tolerance.
Through my training in clinical psychology, I had the oportunity to work at a mental health hospital, with severe symptomatology which was a valuable experience. Through work (practicing since 2003), I provided assessment, counseling and therapy to people with all kinds of disorders, and to populations like victims of torture, war survivors, victims of sexual violence and discrimination.
I am dedicated in using my skills and experience to advance people's lives and improving society.
