My name is Marilena Syrimi, and I am a registered Counseling Psychologist with the Cyprus Psychologists’ Register (Reg. No. 946). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Cyprus and a Master's degree in Cognitive and Brain Sciences from the Cyprus University of Technology. I have also completed postgraduate studies in Counseling Psychology at the University of Nicosia.
My clinical experience includes providing psychological assessment and therapy to adults and couples experiencing emotional and interpersonal difficulties, adjustment issues, grief, as well as group interventions and psychological support for elderly individuals, among others.

My psychotherapeutic approach is based on the Integrative Model of psychological therapy, which combines Psychodynamic and Person-Centered approaches. In a safe and non-judgmental environment, guided by confidentiality, we will be able to discuss the difficulties you are experiencing and explore what you need from the sessions. The psychological therapy I offer focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship, which allows for the exploration and understanding of current challenges by connecting them to past experiences. The goal of giving meaning to your experiences is to foster greater self-awareness and empowerment, so that you can move toward the personal growth you desire.
