I am a developmental and clinical psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across therapeutic and educational settings. My academic path began with a Psychology degree from Durham University, UK, followed by a master’s in Developmental Psychology at Maastricht University, NL, and a Clinical Psychology master’s with a focus on therapeutic practice from TRNC. I’m currently continuing my professional development through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training with Prof. Dr. Maria do Céu Salvador, a leading expert in anxiety and CBT applications for youth.
My practice integrates my international academic background, clinical experiences, and a deep commitment to child and adolescent mental health. I’ve worked in special education, private practice, and community mental health projects, providing assessments, individual and family therapy, and psychoeducation. I also offer guidance to schools and institutions, helping them foster emotionally attuned environments that promote resilience, social-emotional development, and well-being.
My therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with developmental and clinical perspectives. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Maria do Céu Salvador, I have deepened my expertise in working with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and maladaptive thought patterns in children and adolescents. I tailor each session to the client’s age, needs, and emotional world—using play, creativity, structured CBT exercises, and parent guidance when necessary.
I place strong emphasis on collaboration, empathy, and empowerment—working not just with the child or adolescent, but also involving caregivers in a way that builds emotional insight and supports long-term change. My approach is warm, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive, aiming to create lasting impact through understanding, safety, and connection.
