I help people living abroad to deal with the challenges of their lives.
I have over 5 years of experience as a Psychologist, having worked in Brazil, Australia and Germany in the field.
My style of working is to be very human with the person, giving space to talk at the same time I am active listening. I bring my theoretical knowledge to help the person dealing with the struggles and conflict, because I believe that through Psychoeducation we are more able to develop the tools needed to face the problems in life. Moreover, you can expect from me as a Psychologist to help you understand yourself, your context and improve your own way to face your difficult situations.
I am a Brazilian living in Nuremberg since 2020. Before that I have lived in Australia, Italy and Ireland, and each one of these experiences contributes to who I am today, and give me a unique empathy for expats and understanding of the struggles of living abroad.
On a personal level, I like painting (I've been learning watercolour painting), reading and gaming with friends (from boardgames to online co-op). All animals are special to me, but dogs live in my heart.
I use the Systemic approach in my sessions. It comprehends the person inserted in a context (social, family, relationship, work, etc), which influences in who the person is and in their challenges. The interpersonal relationships and how a person interact with them are particularly explored.
