My Therapeutic Approach
In my work, I follow a goal- and solution-oriented approach that helps people reconnect with their own strengths and resources. I do not believe therapy is only about analyzing problems; it should also inspire courage, open new perspectives, and, most importantly, enable change.
I work integratively and holistically, combining different scientifically grounded therapeutic methods to find the individually suitable path for each person. These include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns
Ego-State Therapy – to integrate inner parts and resolve internal conflicts
Inner-Child Work – to heal early emotional wounds and cultivate self-compassion
Body-Oriented Methods – because our gut and heart often know more than our mind
Hypnotherapy – to activate unconscious processes and inner resources
EMDR – especially for processing traumatic experiences
Systemic Approaches – to understand life in the context of relationships, family, and environment
This diversity allows me to work flexibly, always oriented toward the person sitting across from me. I do not see myself as a “know-it-all” but as a companion, someone compassionate, yet clear; someone who listens, asks questions, encourages, and sometimes challenges.
My Stance: Meeting on Equal Ground
I approach my clients with openness, empathy, and genuine interest. I believe that change becomes possible when people feel seen and understood, not judged or analyzed.
In my practice, everything has a place: pain, anger, fear, sadness, shame, but also joy and humor. Often, the desire for change arises precisely at the moment one feels lost. I want to help people see this moment as a beginning, not an end.
My stance is grounded and authentic. It is important to me that my clients understand what happens in therapy and why. I want them to feel taken seriously and to rebuild trust in themselves.
Focus of My Work
Personality Development & Self-Esteem
Many people sense that they could achieve more but feel blocked by old beliefs, self-doubt, or patterns of adaptation. I help clients discover their identity and live more authentically.
Depressive Mood & Exhaustion
Feelings of emptiness, lack of drive, or inner heaviness are common. Together, we find ways to reconnect with joy, motivation, and meaning.
Anxiety & Inner Restlessness
Whether social anxiety, panic attacks, or general worries, anxiety is a signal from the body that needs to be understood. I help clients see it not as an enemy but as a message from within.
Trauma & Burdensome Experiences
Traumatic experiences often leave traces, even years later. Using EMDR, inner-child work, or ego-state therapy, I support the process of integration and healing, carefully, safely, and respectfully.
Addiction & Dependency
Addiction is rarely only about consumption; it often reflects inner distress, pain, shame, or disorientation. I work to understand underlying mechanisms and develop new paths forward.
Relationship Issues & Self-Worth in Partnerships
Relationships are mirrors of our inner world. When we understand ourselves better, our relationships, both with others and with ourselves.
My Work Today
I work with people in times of transition, those who want to engage in personal growth, or who feel it’s time to take a closer look at themselves. Some come with clear goals, others with only a vague sense of dissatisfaction or inner emptiness. Everything is okay.
We start where you are. Together, we clarify your goals and how to achieve them. I work transparently, explain my approach, and ensure that you feel safe and understood at all times.
My Personal Commitment
I see my work not as a job but as a mission. I want more people to understand that seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness but of strength. Asking for help means taking responsibility, for yourself and for your life.
If this resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch. Whether you have previous therapy experience or are taking this step for the first time, you are welcome exactly as you are.
