About me

I am a qualified counsellor with particular interest in trauma and grief and loss. I can offer you a safe and confidential space, my full attention and support to explore your feelings and emotions. I believe, that trusting and honest relationships between the counsellor and the client are important components of a successful therapeutic process, so if you choose me as your counsellor, we will work together to develop this trust between us.

Briefly about me: I am passionate about mental health and have experience of working in the mental health hospitals in Oxford. I also volunteer as a counsellor at Cruse bereavement care and this role is very important and rewarding for me. I feel privileged and humbled by being able to support my clients in the journey through their grief. For 5 years I have volunteered in different roles at Sobell house hospice (Oxford) and had some training in palliative care support.

Approach

I believe that challenges in life can lead to our personal growth. In my practice I use the elements of “logotherapy”, developed by Viktor Frankl, the author of the book “Man’s search for meaning". The focus in this book is on love, hope, responsibility and inner freedom to choose our response in life’s situations.
