I'm a clinical psychologist graduated in developmental clinical psychology and in specialization in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with a special focus on groups, organizations and society at large. My interest in Psychology was born during an experience abroad when I was at high school. I've been a semester in Bristol (UK) where I've first studied this subject. From then, I've never stopped studying and researching in the psychology field. Moreover, this interest has also been fueled by existential and social questions that have developed from my personal experience:
I'm actually working in Padua (Italy): I practice in schools with adolescents, in the department of child neuropsychiatry (hospital), and at the University service with students. In addition I work privately as a clinical psychologist in a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
I've graduated from the University of Padua in Developmental Clinical Psychology, with top marks. Therefore my approach encompasses a focus on the life cycle, which means considering personal development as a goal of the treatment. I'm currently specializing in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, with a focus on individuals, groups and organizations. Thus, I concentrate my work on deep exploration of the self and of relationships, considering the social context in which everyone is immersed. In my work I practice active listening and an empathic attitude, with the suspension of judgement.
During the first session we will explore together your story and the questions that have brought you in this space, without judgment and at your own pace. We will continue this getting to know you process for other 2 or 3 sessions and, after that, we will construct together the goals that fit best for you, in order to start the therapeutic journey!
