I completed my first studies at the Department of Psychology at the University of Saint-Joseph, Beirut/Lebanon (1996-2001).
-(License in Educational Psychology - USJ-1999.
-(Maîtrise in Educational Psychology -USJ-2001).
Then, I earned my DESS (equivalent to Master’s degree) in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Renée Descartes-Paris-V, France (2002).
In 2003, I began my career as a psychologist at a Lebanese NGO (Oumnia) Providing Therapy sessions for chronically ill children and their parents often in complex social and environmental circumstances.
I have more than 10 years’ experience in clinical practice especially with people suffering from emotional difficulties (e.g., anxiety depression, shame, guilt, anger, jealousy, perfectionism, performance anxiety) and relational difficulties (e.g. communication conflicts, jealousy)
Between 2007-2015, I began my journey as a lecturer at the department of Education at the Saint-Joseph university . Since 2023, I hold again the position of Lecturer at the same department.
Furthermore, between 2004 and 2008, I worked as consultant in different NGOs (Santé Sud, ICARE,Mada and Handicap International) as a psychologist and trainee in different projects.
Presently, I am practicing remotely, offering psychological guidance and therapy to:
- children/adolescents,
- adults- individuals,
- parents.
Fast forward to 2024, I took a new step by establishing my private practice in Athens, Greece where I receive children, adolescents and adults.
I have completed the ISST training requirements (Child-Adolescent and Adult) and I have started the formal supervision component of the ISST accreditation process.
In addition to my career in psychology, I am actively a visual artist that uses different mediums (aquarelle-acrylic-oil).
