I am a licensed psychologist with experience in both clinical practice and applied settings. During my academic training at Universidade Fernando Pessoa in Porto, I completed an internship supporting a women’s football team, focusing on performance psychology, mental well-being, and team dynamics.
Since becoming a licensed psychologist, I have worked independently with clients across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, obsessive thoughts and behaviours, depression, eating disorders, and relationship challenges. I have conducted both in-person and online sessions and enjoy both formats, but for now I have shifted to fully online appointments, providing flexible and accessible support. My work is guided by a relational psychoanalytic and humanistic approach, prioritising attentive listening, curiosity, and a safe space for exploration and growth.
I also integrate dream analysis into my clinical work. Over time, I have been analysing dreams with clients and exploring, together, what their unconscious may be expressing through symbolic imagery, emotional themes, and narrative patterns.
Additionally, I have a research interest in psychedelics, stemming from my master’s thesis on how setting influences short-term subjective effects, which enriches my understanding of human consciousness and therapeutic possibilities.
