A therapy intensive is a focused, immersive, efficient experience—usually lasting several hours, and sometimes spread over a few days. This allows you to dive deeply into the work without the usual start-and-stop of weekly therapy sessions. Efficient, Impactful, and a very meaningful way to do emotional work.
Instead of trying to squeeze something profound into 50 minutes, intensives give you space to stay connected to your inner process, allowing insights and healing to unfold in a more integrated, accelerated way. Think of it like emotional deep-sea diving: we take the time to descend slowly, explore what’s underneath, and rise back up with care and clarity.
I also offer grief and IFS counseling , 1:1 for an hour meeting weekly or bi-weekly. I also offer EMDR 3 hour sessions if you have a particular event that your body is holding onto for example a recent car accident, getting stuck in an elevator, or an assault.
I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to tailor sessions to your unique needs. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore emotional patterns, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools to navigate the complexity of being human.
