I am Alina, a thoughtful psychologist living and working in the Netherlands. My passion for psychology began at a young age, which led me to study Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I then completed my Master’s with a focus on Occupational Health Psychology, shaping my strong interest in the connection between mental wellbeing, work, and everyday life.
I then completed my post-master specialisation as psychotherapist in Integrative Psychotherapy. This means that I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I work flexibly and draw on different therapeutic methods, adapting my support to what you need and to a pace that feels right for you.
Having lived as an expat for 12 years, I have a deep understanding of the challenges that come with adjusting to new countries, cultures, and languages. My practice is therefore well suited to supporting fellow expats, offering guidance and support during these transitions. But it also means that I very comfortable working with people from different countries and cultures.
Alongside my private practice, I currently work within a Dutch company as a prevention officer, where I focus on mental health and wellbeing of my colleagues. This role gives me a clear and practical understanding of workplace dynamics, stress, burnout prevention, and the challenges of modern working life.
In my practice, I aim to offer a warm, reflective, and non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I work collaboratively, helping people gain insight, build resilience, and move towards a more balanced and fulfilling life. I believe that meaningful change happens within a relationship built on trust, safety, and genuine human connection.
