About me

Hi! I'm Diana, a native English-speaking Registered Counsellor (BACP) in Europe, providing counselling & coaching for adults with ADHD and AuDHD, as well as ADHD Parent Coaching.

As an ADHD adult and a parent, I understand the day-to-day challenges and also the upsides of living life while neurodivergent.

My biggest "why" is helping you find out what helps *you* (individually) function at your best, so you can:
> stop being thrown off course by repeated daily stressors
> have a strong foundation of calm
> achieve your most deeply-held goals
> and live according to the values that matter to you.

I have worked with neurodivergent adults for the past 7 years , and have up-to-date training in ADHD, autism, and ADHD Parent Coaching.

I am a Registered Counsellor with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). (Please note that as a Registered Counsellor and not a Psychologist, I do not provide diagnoses).

Based in Rome, I also see (expat) clients online in Berlin, Amsterdam, the UK, and Hong Kong, among others.

From a mixed international background (Dutch and Malaysian-Chinese), I grew up in several different countries on three continents, and am a mum to two primary-school-aged children.

My counselling style is open-minded, flexible, collaborative, and supportive.

We might be a good fit if you are looking for:
- A warm, 'human', down-to-earth approach (with a sense of humour when appropriate)
- A neurodiversity-affirmative approach, supporting you in exploring, embracing, and taking care of your unique needs, challenges, strengths and ways of being
- A flexible and responsive, yet structured and practical, approach (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to get in touch for an intro call, or to ask me any questions you may have.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CoachingRecommended for those who want support and motivation to achieve personal or professional goals, often with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
My counselling approach is integrative, meaning that I am trained in and use a combination of evidence-based approaches. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), ADHD Coaching, Person-Centred Counselling, Somatic, and Solution-Focused approaches into my counselling, always through a neurodiversity-affirmative lens.

As a Registered Counsellor, I safeguard my clients’ safety and wellbeing by working according to the BACP Ethical Framework (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I am an inclusive, diversity-affirmative counsellor and enjoy working with many different kinds of people.
