About me

I am a certified psychoanalytic therapist with extensive experience guiding individuals through transformative life journeys. I hold degrees in both Psychology and Violin Performance from the University of Costa Rica. In addition to my therapeutic experience, I am fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, and proficient in sign language for the deaf. As a professional violinist, coupled with my own life challenges, I have developed a heightened sensitivity and a deeper understanding of the complexities of human emotions and the struggles we encounter. This combination enables me to bring profound empathy and insight to my therapeutic practice. I am currently based in Europe, where I have deepened my understanding of cultural differences, enriching my professional practice.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
As a clinical psychoanalyst, my approach focuses on helping individuals uncover unconscious patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. By exploring these hidden aspects, clients gain deeper self-awareness, leading to personal growth and emotional healing. I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their inner world. Each therapy process is tailored to the individual, emphasizing the importance of the therapist-client relationship in fostering meaningful change. Drawing from my diverse background, I take a 360 degrees view of emotional well-being, helping clients break free from emotional blocks and achieve greater fulfillment and balance.
