PT-BR/ENG-speaking. Psychologist/Counsellor with online sessions based on ACT & DBT. I help you deal with anxiety differently, using a compassionate, trauma-informed, and justice-informed approach
Psychologist registered with the Brazilian Psychology Board (CRP) and an Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) specialist, currently practicing as a counsellor in the Netherlands and across the globe.
My practice is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and rooted in social justice, because healing isn’t just individual; it’s shaped by the cultural, structural, and political contexts in which we live.
With a background in São Paulo, Brazil, and lived experience as an immigrant and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my work. My own mental health journey and activism (particularly in psychiatric hospital reform and feminism advocacy) deeply inform my approach: compassionate, evidence-based, and attuned to systemic inequities.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, life transitions, or the weight of oppressive systems, I’m here to help you reclaim agency and rewrite your story—without having to do it alone.
My practice is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on building a rich, meaningful life guided by your personal values. In this context, "acceptance" never means resigning yourself to negative situations, but rather learning to make room for difficult emotions and thoughts so you can move forward toward your dreams and goals. "Commitment" means taking purposeful steps to create that meaningful life.
To tailor our work specifically to your needs, I also incorporate techniques from other modalities to provide the most effective support:
-Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): for building concrete skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
