About me

Hi, I’m Ada! I have a deep interest in understanding the unique experiences that shape each individual’s journey. Originally from Turkey, I moved to the Netherlands at 18 to pursue my studies in psychology. I’ve also had the opportunity to live in Australia, which has given me a rich, multicultural perspective on life and mental well-being. Having lived in different cultures, I know the challenges that come with adapting to new environments, especially when language and cultural differences are involved. These experiences have influenced my approach to therapy, ensuring that I create a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and attuned to each person’s unique background and needs. My goal is to offer support rooted in empathy, helping individuals build self-awareness, understand themselves, and foster self-discovery. I’m here to accompany you on your emotional journey and offer guidance through it. I also receive regular supervision from an experienced clinical psychologist to continuously grow as a psychologist and ensure the highest quality of care for my clients.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
LogotherapyRecommended for those who are searching for meaning and purpose in life to guide their healing process.
Throughout my Master's studies, I was trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I take an eclectic approach to therapy, combining various techniques to best meet each person’s unique needs. For example, I also obtained a certificate in Foundations of Logotherapy at the Viktor Frankl Institute. My aim is to support individuals in gaining freedom through their choices and decisions, helping them draw closer to their true selves. I also focus on fostering self-compassion, encouraging individuals to value and care for themselves, ultimately cultivating a healthier relationship with their inner world.
