My name is Orestis Fakorellis from Athens, Greece, and I am a licensed psychologist with an MA in Clinical Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam. I hold a BA in Psychology from The American College of Greece, validated by The Open University of Britain. My professional journey spans diverse roles in clinical settings, research, and mental health projects across multicultural environments. I have worked in crisis intervention, child and adolescent counseling, addiction treatment, and women’s mental health, gaining a deep, hands-on understanding of the complexities of the human psyche.
But beyond my professional expertise, I bring something equally important: personal experience. I have been engaged in Lacanian psychoanalysis for many years — not just as a professional, but as a patient too. I’ve been where you are now. I know firsthand how challenging, confusing, and even intimidating the therapeutic process can feel. This experience allows me to approach therapy with empathy, understanding, and a genuine belief that transformation is possible.
I have also embarked on the path to becoming a Lacanian analyst, continuing my formation through Champlacanien - Forum of Psychoanalysis of the Lacanian Field of Athens. This ongoing journey fuels my commitment to helping others explore their unconscious, find meaning, and foster lasting change.
Whether you're facing emotional struggles, navigating life transitions, or simply trying to understand yourself better, I’m here to support you — not only as a professional but as someone who truly understands what it means to walk this path.
