With over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, including students, oncology patients, migrants, and corporate professionals. I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space, believing that therapy is a collaborative journey where we explore insights, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges together. My approach combines evidence-based techniques with a warm, empathetic style, tailoring each session to the unique needs and goals of my clients. Whether you are facing anxiety, relationship issues, or seeking deeper self-understanding, my goal is to support you in a way that empowers positive change and fosters well-being.
AREAS OF SUPPORT
Supporting clients through a range of emotional challenges, my practice provides a respectful and safe environment. Adolescents are guided through identity development and the complexities of growing up. Individuals coping with depression learn mood-enhancing strategies such as behavioral activation and cognitive exercises. Various forms of anxiety, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, fear of open spaces (agoraphobia) and obsessive-compulsive patterns, are addressed with structured exposure work and cognitive restructuring. Additional areas of focus include stress management, grief and loss, anger regulation, low self-esteem, sleep difficulties, adjustment concerns and relationship issues, ranging from communication struggles and conflict resolution to building intimacy and setting healthy boundaries.
For clients who have experienced acute stress or trauma, I offer exercises designed to help regulate emotional responses and integrate difficult experiences. When burnout becomes overwhelming, targeted self-care practices and clear boundary setting help restore energy. Clients with borderline personality challenges work on building emotional regulation skills and improving communication in relationships. Those living abroad, whether as part of the diaspora or as expatriates, receive support in adapting to new cultural surroundings, maintaining a sense of belonging and navigating life transitions.
Sessions are available in person at my office or, when needed, on-site. Each treatment plan is tailored to fit the nature of the concern and the unique needs of every client.
