About me

I am a psychological therapist and supervisor with over seven years of experience supporting children, young people, and adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I strive to create a trauma-informed space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they explore their experiences and reconnect with their inner strengths.

Since qualifying as a counsellor and psychotherapist in 2018, I have been privileged to support individuals and families in their recovery from eating disorders. My professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to early intervention and accessible, specialist care. Over the past six years, I have worked within an NHS community eating disorders service, where I also managed an early intervention pathway aimed at reducing the risk of long-term health complications and supporting more positive recovery outcomes.

Alongside my specialist focus on eating and feeding disorders, I also work with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, relational challenges, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting emerging adults and families as they navigate the complexities of growth, identity, and connection.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and flexible, drawing on evidence-based models such as CBT-E (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders), MANTRA (The Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults), FT-AN (Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa), and relational approaches. I aim to tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, supporting them to build self-awareness, develop new ways of coping, and live a life aligned with their values.

Beyond clinical work, I have led early intervention counselling services for primary school children and provided supervision for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists. These roles have deepened my belief in the power of prevention, reflection, and ongoing professio

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process of curiosity, reflection, and growth. My aim is to help you explore the challenges you’re facing, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find new, compassionate ways of relating to yourself and others.

I believe that recovery and personal growth are not about 'fixing' what’s broken, but about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been overshadowed by pain, fear, or self-criticism. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, focusing on your strengths, values, and unique journey.

My approach is trauma-informed and relational, recognising the importance of safety, trust, and attunement in the therapeutic process. I value authenticity and warmth, and I encourage open dialogue about what feels helpful (and what doesn’t) so we can ensure therapy meets your needs.

Whether we are working on eating disorder recovery, anxiety, self-esteem, or relational issues, I integrate evidence-based models such as CBT-E, MANTRA, FT-AN, and relational approaches. This means therapy can be both structured and exploratory — balancing practical strategies for day-to-day coping with deeper emotional understanding.

I also work systemically where appropriate, involving families or significant others in the process, as recovery often unfolds within relationships and communities, not in isolation.

Ultimately, I see therapy as a shared space to help you move towards greater self-acceptance, confidence, and connection — supporting you to live more fully and authentically in line with your values.
