I am a licensed psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and a certified counsellor in Family Therapy with a systemic approach. Over the years, my work has spanned a wide range of areas, including supporting survivors of violence, providing affirming care for LGBTQI individuals and their families, and delivering psychological support within multicultural Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Through both in-person and online sessions, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from diverse cultural, religious, and social backgrounds - all with their unique stories and needs.
On a more personal note - I am a loving sister, grateful daughter, devoted friend, fierce partner, and a Jack Russell co-owner. Also an eternal lover of the sea, camping enthusiast, unsalvageable foodie, and a sucker for love stories.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a systemic perspective, meaning each person is considered within the context of their family dynamics, personal history, cultural and religious background, core beliefs, and lived experiences. I believe that our identities and challenges are shaped not in isolation, but through the connections and relationships we form in all those aspects.
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental atmosphere where one can feel safe to explore, question, and grow. I follow my clients' pace, recognizing that healing and self-discovery are deeply personal journeys. My approach is thoughtfully adapted to meet their unique needs and preferences, integrating insights from various modalities - such as attachment theory and cognitive-behavioral techniques - when they feel helpful and relevant. On the way to deeply fulfilling relationships, greater emotional resilience, and alignment with one’s authentic self, this is a safe space where your story matters.
