Hello and welcome! I'm Veronika and I'm here to support you through life challenges, doubts or aspirations, by offering compassion, curiosity and therapeutic expertise in an accepting and non-judgmental manner.
In my practice, I work with people facing a wide range of issues — from those seeking personal growth and a more harmonious life to individuals with more serious mental health challenges.
Each case is unique, but some of the topics I commonly work with include challenging relationships, stress and burnout, loss and existential crises, traumatic experiences in childhood or adulthood, addiction, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, motivation for personal development, and the pursuit of a more conscious life, among others.
During our sessions, I create a space of sharing, acceptance, and confidentiality, where one can bring whatever feels heavy, worrying, or important to them. I approach my clients with trust and openness, and we explore their topics with care and commitment.
In the process of healing, growth, and awareness, or in the search for peace and inner resources, I accompany my clients with patience and empathy, avoiding labels, moral judgments, or unsolicited advice.
Our sessions are a space where one can feel heard when one shares — a space where one can reconnect with their essence, rediscover themselves, and receive acceptance and support through life’s challenges and losses, or in moments of uncertainty and crisis. It is a safe and confidential environment that protects the intimacy of the client’s experience.
My practice is guided by the principles of the Gestalt psychotherapy, combined with somatic and relational work and trauma-oriented approaches.
Gestalt psychotherapy is a humanistic approach based on an equal, collaborative relationship between therapist and client. Rather than applying labels or diagnoses, it focuses on the client’s potential, strengths, and inner resources. Gestalt is a therapy of contact, where the therapist supports the client in exploring their subjective experiences in order to gain greater awareness and a sense of choice. The focus in Gestalt therapy is on the present moment — the here and now — without excluding past experiences or future aspirations.
In addition, I use various experiential techniques, through which we examine behavioral mechanisms, aspects of the person's psyche or important situations in one's live, approaching one's experiences with curiosity on the levels of thoughts, emotions, and the body.
When it comes to trauma-related work, I combine relational, somatic and psychological parts aspects and techniques, remaining present, accepting and compassionate towards one's experience, which are all necessary components for healing.
