I grew up in Germany and lived in Norway for around 20 years before recently moving back. This international background has made me sensitive to questions of identity, belonging, and life transitions. In my personal life, movement and body awareness are important to me. I enjoy activities such as dancing, yoga, and meditation, which also shape my appreciation for the connection between mind and body.
For several years I worked at a psychiatric outpatient clinic, supporting people with a wide range of mental disorders, ranging from anxiety, depression and burnout to relational difficulties and identity processes. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic thinking and integrates elements from affect consciousness and mindfulness. I also have experience working with couples and groups, and I enjoy helping clients understand and transform their relationships.
