I support people who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. With warmth, honesty, and humor, I help clients reconnect with their emotions and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
I am a German-Norwegian psychologist with clinical training and work experience from Norway. Having lived between cultures has made me especially sensitive to questions of identity, belonging, and life transitions.
In my personal life, movement and body awareness are important to me. I enjoy activities such as dancing, yoga, and meditation, which have also shaped my appreciation for the connection between mind and body.
For several years, I worked at a psychiatric outpatient clinic, supporting people with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, burnout, relational difficulties, and identity-related processes.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic thinking and integrates elements of affect consciousness and mindfulness. I also have experience working with couples and groups, and I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves and their relationships.
I place particular importance on working with emotions. Rather than seeing them as something to fix or change, I understand them as meaningful signals that can help us become more aware of our needs.
I would describe myself as warm, creative, and light-hearted. It is important for me to create a space where you can fully be yourself, access your inner resources, and find new ways of relating to your challenges. In our conversations, I am transparent and honest, while also compassionate and non-judgmental, which helps create trust and safety.
I do not provide psychotherapy or treatment of mental disorders according to German law (Heilpraktikergesetz). My services are limited to psychological counseling and support.
