About me

Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Leyla and I'm delighted to be here as a part of this online therapist community. With my background in clinical psychology and expertise in trauma treatment, I'm passionate about supporting individuals through their healing journeys.

Having lived abroad for several years, including six in Poland and half a year in Ireland, I understand firsthand the challenges and complexities that come with being an immigrant and an expat. This unique experience has helped me develop a deep empathy and appreciation for the struggles that individuals in similar situations face.

I love hiking, being in the nature, taking small pauses to appreciate life.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
EMDRRecommended for those dealing with trauma who want to process painful memories in a structured way to reduce their emotional impact.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.

In my practice, I specialize in trauma treatment utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schematherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I believe in the power of these approaches to help individuals overcome their past traumas and create meaningful and empowering lives.

Creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients is of utmost importance to me. I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring my techniques and interventions to meet each individual's specific needs. By working together, we can explore your past experiences, develop new coping strategies, and foster a sense of resilience and empowerment.
