Gestalt psychotherapy is about embracing wholeness.
I believe we achieve wholeness when all aspects of ourselves—both light and shadow—are in harmony. My goal is to help you explore the "unattractive" or challenging parts of yourself without blame, shame, or judgment. Instead, you will find a space of acceptance and understanding. I am able to offer this because I have walked this path myself, learning to reconcile and make peace with my own inner conflicts. Through this process, I have witnessed the profound healing and personal growth it brings.
In our sessions, I will not impose my ideas or judgments on your experiences. Instead, I will listen deeply and serve as a compassionate, professional mirror, reflecting back to you with care and tact. This will help you uncover unconscious or less obvious patterns in your inner and outer world.
Gestalt psychotherapy is rooted in dialogue. Together, we will engage in open, equal conversations. I will be there to support you professionally in navigating the challenges or uncertainties you may not yet feel ready to face alone.
In my work I effectively utilize the EMPTY CHAIR TECHNIQUE — a powerful method for addressing unresolved internal conflicts, suppressed emotions, and unspoken feelings. This technique helps to:
- Bring closure to the unfinished – express thoughts and emotions that were left unsaid in relationships with loved ones, colleagues, or even within yourself.
- Facilitate inner dialogue or conflict – explore different aspects of your personality and help them "hear" and understand each other.
The empty chair technique is highly effective in working through loss, conflict, self-criticism, trauma, and personal growth. I would be happy to guide you through this process and support you on your journey to self-awareness and healing!
