I’m a Canadian living in the Netherlands since 2018. With a background in psychology and anthropology from the University of British Columbia, I’ve been working in the counselling field since 2015—starting on a crisis line and later earning my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. My goal has always been to create a practice where I can help people navigate change and growth in their lives.
At the heart of my approach is a commitment to openness, empathy, and non-judgment. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space for people of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations. I am continuously learning—about people, the world, and evolving counselling practices—to ensure I provide the best support possible.
I deeply believe in two seemingly contradictory truths:
“Understanding heals agony.”
and
“I understand that I cannot understand.”
To me, this means I will always seek to understand my clients in order to support them, while also recognizing that their experiences are uniquely their own. My role is to walk alongside them, offering guidance, validation, and a space to be truly heard.
