I primarily use Schema Therapy, an integrative and evidence-based form of psychotherapy that draws on Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment theory, Psychodynamic principles, and Gestalt techniques. Schema Therapy helps individuals understand and change lifelong emotional and relational patterns while building new, healthier ways of coping and connecting.
I am also trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a trauma-focused and evidence-based method designed to help the nervous system process distressing memories and experiences. EMDR can be especially powerful for trauma, anxiety, and emotionally overwhelming experiences, and can be integrated into our work when clinically appropriate.
While Schema Therapy provides the primary framework, our sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals. I may also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, and other integrative interventions to support your healing and growth.
My commitment is to walk alongside you as we explore your inner world: your history, emotions, patterns, and strengths. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself and others. Your story deserves to be heard, understood, and honored.
