About me
Petra Vavami, MSc, is a dedicated psychologist and psychotherapist practicing in the Netherlands. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Ioannina in Greece and a Master's degree in Neuropsychology from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Petra is trained as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) and has also received extensive training in Psychotherapy and Systemic Therapy, as well as in Schema Therapy at Van Genderen Opleidingen B.V. in the Netherlands (ISST Approved Schema Therapy Training-Schematherapie Opleidingen).
Petra completed her clinical internship at the Mental Health Unit of the Social Cooperative Enterprise "Thyamis" in Ioannina-Thesprotia, where she also participated in the past. Additionally, she gained research experience during her internship at the EEG Laboratory at the University of Maastricht.
Over the past years, Petra has additionally collaborated with Doctor Any Time in Greece as a psychologist and with the Mental Health platform Hiwell. As a member of the Dutch Psychological Association (NIP), she stays updated with the latest developments in the field.
