About me

Hi, I’m Rebeka – a licensed psychologist working with expats, students, and new parents who are seeking more peace, clarity, and balance in their lives.

Whether you’re navigating the challenges of becoming a parent, adjusting to a new country, or feeling overwhelmed by academic stress, you're not alone. I offer therapy and counseling in both English and Romanian, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore what’s going on and feel truly heard.

My areas of expertise include: • Perinatal mental health – support around infertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period • Life transitions – including identity development, relationship issues, feelings of loneliness, and adjusting to new environments • Academic transitions – such as performance anxiety, stress, and study-related challenges

Clients often describe me as warm, kind, and open-minded. In our sessions, you can expect a casual, conversational atmosphere where we work together at your pace.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading, meditating, running, and spending time with my husband, young son, and our dog. I care deeply about professional growth and regularly take part in training, peer consultation groups, and conferences to continue learning and improving my work.

If you’re looking for a therapist who meets you where you are with compassion and curiosity, I’d be happy to connect.

I am a member of the Dutch Institute for Psychologists (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen) and the Romanian Board for Psychologists (Colegiul Psihologilor din Romania).

I am based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, but I am also available for online sessions. Please contact me for availability.
