Psychodynamic psychologist and psychotherapist in training helping individuals and couples navigate relationship difficulties, self-doubt, anxiety, life transitions and emotional challenges.
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in painful relationship patterns, struggling with self-doubt, or carrying a constant sense of anxiety that affects their wellbeing, relationships, work, and daily life. I support individuals and couples in understanding these difficulties at a deeper level, helping them develop greater emotional clarity, self-confidence, and more fulfilling relationships.
I am an Italian psychologist and psychotherapist in training based in Vienna. Having lived and worked internationally myself, I have a particular sensitivity to the challenges of change, identity, belonging, and adaptation. Many of my clients are navigating important life transitions, relationship difficulties, uncertainty about the future, or the emotional impact of living away from familiar environments and support systems.
My work is grounded in a post-Freudian psychodynamic approach, which focuses on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that shape how we think, feel, relate to others, and experience ourselves. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, I believe that lasting change comes from developing a deeper understanding of the emotional dynamics underlying our difficulties.
Alongside my clinical work, I am also a professional pianist and composer. This artistic background has given me a particular understanding of perfectionism, performance pressure, self-criticism, emotional sensitivity, and the challenges often faced by high-achieving individuals, creatives, and professionals who appear successful on the outside while struggling internally.
I offer sessions for adults and couples in Italian, English, German, French, and Spanish, both online and in person in Vienna.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic principles and focuses on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that influence your current experiences, relationships, and sense of self.
Clients often come to me when they feel stuck in recurring relationship patterns, struggle with self-worth, experience persistent anxiety, or find themselves repeating the same difficulties despite their efforts to change. Together, we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and unconscious processes may continue to shape present challenges.
Our work is collaborative, reflective, and tailored to your individual needs. Rather than offering ready-made solutions, I help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, your relationships, and the internal conflicts that may be holding you back. This process often leads to greater emotional clarity, self-confidence, and more meaningful ways of relating to yourself and others.
As part of my training, I also integrate imagination-based techniques inspired by psychodynamic practice when appropriate. These methods can help access emotions, memories, and inner experiences that may be difficult to reach through rational reflection alone.
For individuals living abroad, therapy can also provide support around identity shifts, loneliness, cultural adjustment, and the search for belonging. For couples, I offer a safe and balanced space to explore communication difficulties, recurring conflicts, trust issues, emotional disconnection, and attachment dynamics, working toward a deeper and more authentic connection.
My style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported while working towards meaningful and lasting change.

My work is grounded in a post-Freudian psychodynamic approach and focuses on helping people understand the emotional and relational patterns that shape their lives. Many clients come to therapy struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or a recurring sense of being stuck despite their efforts to change.
Having lived and worked internationally myself, I have a particular interest in supporting expats, internationally mobile professionals, and intercultural couples navigating questions of identity, belonging, adaptation, and connection.
Each therapeutic journey is tailored to the individual or couple. Through a collaborative and reflective process, I help clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and more satisfying relationships with themselves and others. When appropriate, I also integrate imagination-based techniques to facilitate deeper emotional exploration and self-awareness.
My professional background combines psychology, psychotherapy, neuroscience, and international experience. My work is grounded in a post-Freudian psychodynamic approach and focuses on helping individuals and couples understand emotional patterns shaping relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and life transitions.
Having lived and worked internationally, I am particularly sensitive to intercultural relationships, identity, belonging, and challenges experienced by people living abroad.
