I am a psychotherapist i.A.u.S from Vienna, originally from Mauritius and having lived in Switzerland. As a result, I work in a culturally sensitive manner whilst appreciating each client’s diversity.
After finishing my first degree at the Sigmund Freud university, I have pursued my training for psychoanalysis with the Psychoanalytic Seminar Innsbruck Institute, Austria. I was able to work in various international settings; at a psychiatric hospital in Mauritius, associations and rehabilitation centers in Geneva, and I am currently practicing in Vienna.
In my work with clients, I am particularly interested in understanding people’s relationships and attachments, which I believe, can have an important impact on a person’s wellbeing and experience of life.
Our current relationships are often shaped by early childhood attachments, which act as templates to how we relate to people. When we are not fully aware of these patterns and needs, it can have a significant impact on our sense of safety in the world, our mood, and overall wellbeing.
