About me

I chose to study Gestalt therapy because it is a good way to find answers to important life questions and to address general concerns, and to get in touch with yourself. I also have access to consultations with a qualified supervisor. That way, I can both improve my skills as a therapist, and more readily provide the assistance that you might need.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.
Gestalt therapy focuses on the process and the ability to adapt to one's environment. At certain times in our lives, the ways of adapting that may have served us in the past might no longer be effective in the present. If we aren't flexible enough in our approach to new challenges in life, all kinds of difficulties may arise. Every situation requires a different way of adapting (or simply being). So, in Gestalt therapy we touch on what seems immovable and work on the areas where we feel stuck. One of the main goals of Gestalt therapy is to widen the field of possibilities. This form of therapy focuses on one's uniqueness and individuality. When we learn to recognise our needs, then we can both make decisions that are important us, and also take the necessary actions as a result. In a Gestalt therapy session, I am me and you are you. We have a space where we can be ourselves. We go into the therapeutic relationship as we are, bringing our own experiences. We leave the relationship also as ourselves, but perhaps a little changed — having felt or discovered something new. This way, we can slowly learn to express and be in contact with ourselves in different ways. This is my personal experience with the Gestalt approach and I look forward to hearing about yours.

Experience

3 years in practice
I have been working with clients in gestalt therapy for three years, focusing on individual sessions both in person and online. My approach emphasizes depth and values slow, attentive processes, where clients are invited to reflect, stay curious, and explore their experiences at a pace that feels meaningful to them.

Education

I am trained as a Gestalt therapist with a specialization in working with trauma. I have also participated in various body-based and somatic workshops and engage in continuous individual supervision to support my professional development and ensure high-quality therapeutic practice. I am also a member of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy, which supports my ongoing growth and connection to the wider Gestalt community.
