I am a CBT-based therapist specializing in migration psychology, expat mental health, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. With a background in clinical health psychology and neuropsychology.
Hi! I am a clinical psychology professional currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Health Psychology at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), with a specialization in neuropsychology. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from MRU in 2023. In the same year, I completed my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training and supervision, and I am accredited by the Turkish Psychological Association as well as EFPA. Since 2023, I have been actively practicing as a CBT therapist, working with diverse clinical presentations.
Between 2021 and 2022, I worked extensively with migrants and Ukrainian displaced individuals, providing psychological and psychosocial support to those experiencing migration-related and post-migration psychological challenges. Migration psychology remains one of my core areas of expertise, and I continue to offer individual therapy focused on migration stress, trauma, identity, and adaptation difficulties. My professional experience spans various NGOs and clinical settings across Türkiye, N. Ireland, France, and Lithuania, allowing me to work within multicultural and interdisciplinary environments.
In my clinical practice, I adopt an integrative, evidence-based, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapeutic approach, grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and informed by health psychology principles. As a health psychology professional, I work at the intersection of psychological well-being, physical health, lifestyle factors, and neuropsychiatric processes. I support clients in understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physiological responses, with a focus on stress regulation, psychosomatic symptoms, emotional resilience, and adaptive coping strategies.
My therapeutic work is collaborative, goal-oriented, and highly personalized. I emphasize identifying clients’ existing strengths, resources, and values while helping them develop practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, migration stress, identity-related challenges, chronic stress, and adjustment difficulties. Drawing from solution-focused techniques, I aim to foster hope, self-efficacy, and sustainable change by focusing not only on problems, but also on possibilities and achievable goals. My practice is culturally sensitive and trauma-informed, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, migration histories, and gender or sexual identities.
Through online individual therapy, I offer a flexible and accessible therapeutic environment tailored to each client’s unique life context. My approach integrates scientific rigor with human connection, supporting clients in building insight, emotional balance, and long-term psychological well-being while navigating complex personal, social, and health-related challenges.
