My approach is holistic, integrative and grounded in the belief that healing requires contact with the whole person — mind, body, history, relationships, inner parts, and the deeper layers that shape how we move through the world. I don’t work through one modality or a fixed method. Instead, I attune to what your system needs in each moment and weave together psychological insight, somatic awareness, relational depth and inner exploration.
At the core of my work is the relationship between us. I see therapy as a co-created space where your nervous system can breathe differently — slower, safer, less guarded. The way we relate often reveals patterns that shape your life: how you adapt, protect yourself, shut down, people-please or overfunction. In our sessions, we bring curiosity to these patterns not to judge them, but to understand what they protect and what they long for. I hold the space with presence, warmth and honesty, so you can feel met rather than analysed, accompanied rather than managed.
A central pillar of my practice is somatic and nervous-system–informed work. I pay close attention to how your body carries your story — the tension, numbness, activation, collapse, sensitivity, speed or stillness that appear long before the mind can explain why. Somatic exploration doesn’t require dramatic techniques; often it’s as simple as tracking your breath, noticing what tightens when you speak your truth, or feeling what softens when something is finally heard. Over time, this builds regulation, emotional capacity and a deeper sense of connection with yourself.
I also integrate parts-based work (IFS-inspired), which helps illuminate the different inner voices and strategies that developed to keep you safe — the achiever, the caretaker, the critic, the overwhelmed child, the exhausted adult, the protector who doesn’t trust rest. Instead of trying to silence or fix these parts, we learn how to listen to them, understand what they need, and help them soften into more supportive roles. Many clients find immense relief in finally recognising their inner world not as chaos, but as a system that makes sense.
My approach is additionally shaped by Gestalt foundations, Authentic Relating principles and gentle hypnotherapeutic tools. Gestalt informs how we return to the present moment, honour what is alive now, and recognise the patterns that appear between us. Authentic Relating influences the way I hold space — with transparency, relational sensitivity and an emphasis on genuine connection rather than performance. Hypnotherapeutic elements are used subtly to deepen focus, ease resistance and support relaxation or imagery work when helpful.
Holistic therapy for me also means acknowledging the spiritual or contemplative dimension of human experience. Not as doctrine, but as an inner resource — intuition, meaning, presence, connection to something larger than the analytical mind. For many clients this dimension creates a sense of grounding and direction, especially during transitions, identity shifts or deep emotional work. I integrate these elements in a grounded, non-dogmatic way, only if it supports your process and aligns with your worldview.
Sessions with me are spacious, collaborative and deeply attuned. Sometimes we explore emotions and narratives; sometimes the body leads; sometimes a part needs attention; sometimes the work is relational; and sometimes the most important moment is simply breathing in a way that feels safe. I follow your pace, honour your capacity, and support you in building internal permission to rest, feel, speak, expand and choose differently.
Ultimately, my approach is about creating a space where all of you is welcome — your contradictions, your intelligence, your sensitivity, your history, your longing for change, and the parts of you that don’t yet know how to trust it. We work with compassion, depth and curiosity, so you can develop a more regulated, authentic and integrated way of being in your life.
