As an English/Romanian-speaking psychotherapist, I help my clients explore and understand their experiences and behaviours in order for them to take steps towards creating a more fulfilling life.
I'm Diana, a dedicated Psychologist and Psychotherapist based in the Netherlands. My journey in psychology began with a deep dive into Positive Psychology, where I earned both my BSc and MSc from Erasmus University Rotterdam. This was followed by enriching training as a psychotherapist in Integrative Psychotherapy. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through a diverse array of challenges, ranging from depression, loss & mourning, panic attacks, to more complex issues like domestic abuse, self-harm, and trauma.
As someone who has lived the expat life for over a decade, I deeply understand the unique hurdles faced by those adjusting to new countries, cultures, and languages. Hence, my practice is also finely tuned to meet the needs of fellow expats, providing them with the support and guidance they need in these transitions.
At the heart of my practice lies the philosophy of Integrative Psychotherapy. This approach melds humanistic and existential methodologies, recognizing the unique journey of each client. It's about creating a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where every experience is valued and carefully attended to. The goal is to forge a genuine, trust-filled client-therapist relationship, where we co-create the path to healing and growth.
Integrative therapy is all about exploring the multifaceted nature of our lives – our thoughts, emotions, physical well-being, relationships, and even our spiritual perspectives. It avoids viewing problems through a narrow lens, instead offering a holistic perspective that can be incredibly enlightening. In my toolkit, I have an array of psychotherapeutic techniques including Transactional Analysis, CBT, Gestalt Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Psychosomatic Approach, among others, all tailored to suit each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Currently, my practice is exclusively online, allowing me to connect with clients across Europe, within accommodating time zones. Please note that my address is purely for administrative purposes. I conduct sessions in fluent English and native Romanian.
I offer free 15 minutes consultation sessions to get to know each other and see if we are a match.
Looking forward to embarking on this transformative journey with you!
