I hold a degree in psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a master's degree from the National School of Public Health. Additionally, I have specialized training in group dynamics within psychiatric institutions, also obtained at the University of Athens.
For many years, I have been actively engaged in the International Forum of the Lacanian Field (IF-EPFCL)—first as a member of the Athens Forum, and now as a member of the Polish Forum of the Lacanian Field, where I have also served as chairperson. My approach is deeply influenced by Lacanian psychoanalysis, focusing on the role of language, desire, and the unconscious in shaping human experience.
I practice a psychoanalytic approach with a strong influence from Lacanian theory, which views the unconscious as structured like a language. This perspective allows us to explore how personal narratives, unconscious desires, and symbolic structures shape our experiences. In therapy, I work with clients through free association, careful listening, and interpretation to help them uncover hidden aspects of their psyche. My role is not to offer ready-made solutions but to guide individuals toward deeper self-understanding, greater emotional freedom, and meaningful change. Each therapeutic journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to the specific needs and concerns of my clients.
