About me

I have been a sponsor for Adult Children and Co-dependents. A counselor to families, and a coach to the recovery community. I hold a Bachelor of Arts, a Masters in Psychology, and Professional Coaching Certifications for Life- and Recovery Coaching from the International Association for Recovery Coaches. As a practicing Artist, I also facilitate Art- and Nature Contemplation. My journey took me through Art School and Academic Psychology. It took me through Europe and across the Atlantic. Through Parenthood and the “Spiritual”. Through Developmental Trauma Recovery to the deeper knowing. I love life, and have always been on a quest to investigate. To study the moment and approach the essence of all things. I have found a lot of answers and I am still living these questions. I love to “investigate”, to feel deeply and be still. Over the years I have learned to enjoy my own company, befriend my highly sensitive and introverted parts. I have found being closer to myself is bringing me closer to Life.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Group therapyRecommended for those who want to work through their challenges in a supportive group setting and learn from others who share similar experiences.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
Nature therapyRecommended for people who feel rejuvenated by nature and want to incorporate the healing power of the outdoors into their therapy process.
As an Artist, Psychologist, and Professional Coach with 10 years of personal recovery work from my own developmental trauma and co-depedency I am excited to combine both my professional perspective and the deep compassion of a fellow traveler. To me every session is a journey towards our true selves. In order to better understand our individual situations we need to look at the bigger picture. It is important to know what responsibilities were placed upon us. Which were ours and which were not but we took to be ours and lived by. By being aware of the water we swim in we can literally see what is ours to take, and what we can shed. In order to do so we will be taking your personal, generational and historical perspective into account. This way you can part from whatever was placed upon you but does not serve you. Clarity can emerge and more Energy and Strength for yourself and your own project will return. Drawing on Humanistic Psychology, Philosophy, and integrative Psychotherapy I facilitate this understanding and awareness, and the ensuing compassion we develop for ourselves and each other.
