Trauma-focused therapist, offering a non-pathologizing space where people can explore and move through their mental health struggles and reconnect with themselves.
Hi, I’m Lilia, a certified therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. I'm based in Armenia and offer online therapy to people from all backgrounds and nationalities.
I was drawn to psychology through my own need to make sense of things: first within myself, then the people around me, then the structures that influence all of us. My own experience of having to figure out who I am outside of what's expected of me has shaped how I work by making me genuinely curious and open to perspectives that don't fit the norm.
I believe therapy should not ask people to conform better to systems that are genuinely causing harm. I have a non-pathologizing approach to mental health struggles and view them as adaptive responses to environmental, relational, and systemic stressors. Therapy with me looks like getting curious about your struggles and reconnecting with the parts of you that have been pushed away. My goal is to create a space that gives people permission to question anything that doesn't feel right and to start trusting themselves again.
I work in an experiential and depth-oriented way, using Existential Therapy, Parts Work, and Trauma-Focused modalities. I often integrate tools from IFS (Internal Family Systems), Somatic Experiencing, and Coherence Therapy.
My approach tends to resonate most with people who are open to slowing down, listening inward, and letting the process naturally unfold. Instead of trying to force change through willpower, we'll focus on discovering what’s already happening within you, allowing change to emerge from that truth.
