About me

I am a Psychologist and Counsellor with graduate membership in the British Psychological Society and a Master’s training in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (UEL, UK). Alongside this, I have completed 2 years of specialization in Psychodynamic Art Therapy (CPS Arts, Greece) and a one year Life Coaching training (NCPS accredited), gaining experience in strengths based, relational and meaning focused approaches.

I continue to deepen my practice through training in Narrative, Dialogical and Relational approaches, alongside specialised work in counselling for chronic illness and disability. I have supported adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, illness, disability and major life transitions such as immigration, identity changes and parenthood, through roles as Assistant Psychologist, Recovery Worker, Therapeutic Arts Facilitator, and in private and voluntary settings.

My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion and thoughtful exploration. I am especially drawn to working with emotionally aware individuals who are navigating change, loss or uncertainty, and who may be seeking not only relief from distress, but a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.

My own experience of living with chronic illness and navigating life transitions has shaped my appreciation for the complexity of growth and healing. I believe that change often unfolds gently, through reflection, creativity and meaning making. Alongside my clinical work, I write poetry and paint, and I value how creative expression can help us reconnect with ourselves and find new ways forward.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Art therapyRecommended for those who feel more comfortable expressing emotions through creativity and want to explore their feelings through art rather than talking.
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
Positive psychotherapyRecommended for those who want to focus on building strengths, increasing happiness, and enhancing their overall well-being, rather than just focusing on problems.

In our work together, we create a calm and thoughtful space where you can slow down, reflect, and gently explore what feels important. We may notice how life experiences such as illness, loss, change or transition have shaped your sense of self, and begin to understand these experiences with curiosity and compassion.

My approach is relational, reflective and collaborative. I do not believe you need to have all the answers. Instead, we think together, allowing meaning to emerge gradually and at your own pace.

I draw from Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic and Narrative approaches, alongside creative and reflective practices when helpful. These can support not only the easing of distress, but also the development of resilience, self understanding and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Over time, therapy can become a space for reconnecting with your strengths, exploring patterns, and gently moving towards a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with who you are.
