Nika

I am a trained psychologist from Zagreb, Croatia, and I specialize in child psychology and parent counseling. I have worked through most of my education (4 years) at a Children Helpline and currently am working as a Psychologist in a Kindergarten. I am also in my second year of training to become psychotherapist in Reality therapy and Theory of choice.

Through my years at Children Helpline I attended various additional educations such as Anxiety in children; Parent counseling; Support for grieving child; Selected parenting topics; Abuse and neglect of children; Support for parents and children in peer conflicts; Self-harm and many more. I also studied ways to work on your Self-esteem, Self-respect, how to internalize Self-support so you can improve your quality of life.

Since very young I have been more of a listener and observer, so my friends and people who I met confided in me and told me about their problems. And since I love helping people, that combined with curiosity for human behavior it was a no-brainer what my future calling would be. Other than psychology and counseling I enjoy nature walks, spending time with my partner, family and friends, reading books, good music, films and series and sports like running, recreative boxing and yoga.
