About me
I am a Professor in Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health at the University of Athens, Greece. I am the director of the Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences and also the director of the laboratory "Nursing Counselling and Psychoeducation of Mental Health Patients and Carers." For the past 25 years, my specialty has been CBT, Systemic Psychotherapy, and Mental Health Counselling, especially for students and young adults.

My main approach is CBT and Systemic Psychotherapy. The goal is to discover the thought process of the client, face anxiety and panic problems, deal with family and relationship issues in order to alter the way of thinking and alleviate negative feelings. Through the whole process the client and the therapist act like a dynamic duet with the continious support of the therapist in every step of the way.
