I believe maladaptive behaviors, whether seen in one's life through stress, isolation, addiction, depression, anxiety or various disorders, are creative adjustments to one's environment. Therefore, I have found that a collaborative use of methods from emotion focused interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy, third-wave and fourth-wave methods are highly validated in addressing psychological problems.
