✱ Work with Children and Adolescents ✱
With children and adolescents, I create a warm, accepting space where play is the natural language for healing and growth. Using sand trays, clay, drawing, puppetry, and story work, I help young people express themselves, build confidence, and explore challenges in new ways. I often support children with:
➤ Emotional regulation and tantrums
➤ Peer and friendship challenges
➤ Confidence and self-esteem
➤ Anxiety and school-related stress
✱ Client-Centred Philosophy ✱
I believe in supporting clients to discover their own solutions, rather than imposing ideas. My work is rooted in a humanistic, gestalt, and client-centred approach, creating a space where authenticity, curiosity, and play can emerge.
✱ Supervision ✱
I trained at the Centre for Supervision and Training Development in London under Robin Shohet and Joan Wilmot. Their influence inspires me to build connection and remove obstacles to communication—whether in schools, families, or workplaces. My supervision aims to strengthen relationships, promote clarity, and encourage honest reflection.
✱ Work with Adults ✱
When working with adults, I combine client-centred and gestalt principles with openness to creative approaches. My focus is on providing a safe and supportive environment for exploring difficulties, fostering resilience, and helping clients make empowered choices that feel authentic to them.
✱ Creative Modalities ✱
In both child and adult work, creativity is central. Whether through storytelling, art, or play, these methods open pathways for expression that words alone cannot always capture, helping clients discover new perspectives and empowering solutions.
✱ Client Feedback ✱
“Thank you Sean for the incredible support during play therapy sessions with M. He is showing so much more confidence and positivity since you’ve started working with him.”
“Your compassion, attention to detail, and careful support of D — and us as parents — was something we will forever be grateful for.”
