I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University, an APA-accredited program, specializing in Health Psychology and Child Psychology. My education emphasized understanding the complex connection between mental and physical health.
• I completed my pre-doctoral internship at UC Davis Medical Center, where I worked extensively with patients across the lifespan, providing presurgical evaluations, neuropsychological assessments, and integrated behavioral health care.
• My post-doctoral fellowship focused on supporting Transitional Age Youth (TAY), foster youth, and psychological assessments. This experience deepened my commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care.
• I received my (University) Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco, with additional studies in Sociology and Gender & Sexuality Studies, giving me a broader perspective on social and cultural influences in mental health.
Additional Specialized Training
To better serve clients managing chronic health conditions, I completed specialized training through the American Diabetes Association–American Psychological Association (ADA-APA) joint program in behavioral diabetes care. I have also pursued ongoing advanced training in motivational interviewing, adjustment to chronic illness, health behavior change, and patient-centered communication, all of which strengthen my commitment to whole-person, evidence-based care.
