About me

“𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯.” Leonard Cohen Are you suffering from anxiety, depression, stress or difficulties in relationships or parenthood? Are you an expat, multilingual, TCK or minority facing life changes, culture shock or issues tied to identity and gender? Are you involved in the arts or in a creative field and concerned with creativity, performance anxiety, motivation or stage fright? A successful psychoanalysis can bring about crucial relief from these diverse symptoms, improving your quality of life and empowering you to make choices with increased freedom, unburdened by the weight of the past. With extensive training in three countries and clinical experience with diverse individuals, I ensure the utmost care, confidentiality, and respect throughout your journey. As a long-time multilingual expat, I am sensitive to the difficulties faced by expats, TCKs, and multilingual clients. Informed by a parallel background in music performance and arts management, I also welcome patients whose challenges relate to creativity, whether in the arts or in other fields. Whatever challenges you are facing, I am here to listen.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Lacanian PsychoanalysisGood for those who want to explore the unconscious mind through the lens of language and desire, focusing on understanding deeper motivations.
PsychoanalysisGood for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
Psychodynamic therapyGood for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
My practice is guided by the theories and clinical experience of Jacques Lacan and Sigmund Freud. Treatment can be carried out in person in Ljubljana or remotely, in any of three languages: English, Italian or Spanish. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬? Lacanian psychoanalysis is a therapeutic approach that delves into how language, the unconscious, your desire and personal history shape your inner world and affect your relationships. Unlike therapies that focus solely on quick fixes, psychoanalysis uncovers the hidden roots of emotional distress. This form of therapy provides a safe space, free of judgement, where you can openly discuss whatever is on your mind. Exploring your thoughts and feelings with a qualified analyst will spur personal growth and lasting change: challenges can become less burdensome and life more meaningful.
