About me
I am Registered Psychologist NIP® in the Netherlands and a Licensed Clinical Counselor (LCPC, LCMHC, LPC, NCC, ACADC) in the United States in Idaho, Utah, and Oregon. I've been licensed since 2019 and love to provide a safe space for clients to explore themselves without judgement. Prior to becoming a Psychologist/Counselor I was a certified therapeutic recreation specialist (CTRS) and love to explore how our work/life balance influences our mental health. I am an ex-pat myself since 2023 and understand the difficulties of integrating to your new country but still keeping the parts of your old. It gets very lonely and overwhelming at times, especially if you don't have community.

Approach
Expect to be treated with compassion and honesty. I use humor when appropriate to make you feel more at home in sessions. I help individuals to explore their new life as an ex-pat and help to guide you to integrate your past experiences with the Dutch way of life. I also support LGBTI+ folxs in exploring their identity(ies) and processing through past shame and trauma(s). I help you learn skills to self-love without guilt.
